Yamatoya Besso, a five-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station, is the only pure Japanese Ryokan in Dogo where a room attendant dedicated to you thoughtfully serves you throughout your stay from "standing by the door to welcome you" to "sending you off.” Each room is decorated with seasonal flowers and haiku by a writer associated with Dogo.

Dinner

Monthly dinner special is Japanese style haute cuisine called "Kaiseki Ryori" that expresses seasonal
delicacy and rich nature of Ehime. The chef selects various seasonal motifs in tune with the peak season of
food's flavor called "Shun" and creates a course meal as if drawing gradation of four seasons.

Dinner and breakfast are served in your room.
You can enjoy a special dinner time in a comfort and soothing ambiance.

Breakfast

In the morning you wake up later than usual, please leisurely enjoy your breakfast
served in your room. We serve you our original Japanese set meal that has been passed
down from the first chef including a Japanese style omelet, Kamaage shirasu
（straight-from-the-pot young sardine which is freshly boiled) and squid sashimi.

Grilled salmon, a specialty of our ryokan, is of excellent quality as each whole salmon is carefully salted by the chef. Have a bite and a rich taste will soon spread in your mouth. You can have a lot of rice along with salmon.

We deliver breakfast to your room at your desired time.
Please enjoy the meal with your precious one.

Local specialty of Ehime Taimeshi
(sea bream rice)

Sea bream procured on the day is used. Pour a specialty raw egg and our secret sauce on warm rice and enjoy Taimeshi (sea bream rice).
